Cookie	After a mad dash from home, and with an hour and 15 drive from the venue, as I approached it was 8.50pm and I thought I'd miss the first couple of songs. Nope. Arrived just in time. Previously to this event, I had messaged lead singer Darren to say I had a gift for him and the band. I had made up a couple of promotional trading cards (one of my hobbies) as Darren had sent thru some images of The Oils Tribute for me to use and my wife did the overall design; they turned out amazing. See the pics below. The QR Code takes you to their merch and tour dates. Only Darren knew about the cards, so the rest of the band were very pleasantly surprised and delighted that I had gone to such efforts. I said I was happy to do whatever they liked, hand them out at gigs, put them on their website etc. But, back to the gig, it took a little time and a few songs for the crowd to amp up. but the band delivered in spades as usual. Played Nobody's Child and Knifes edge for the first time ever, went down a storm! Rang Chris Hall in Canada for a video sing-a-long with the band during Don't Wanna Be the One, Sometimes and Stand In Line, had ablast singing along... GREAT NIGHT AGAIN!!!
