 Christian Wieting Die Setlist: Vandross präsentierte an diesem Abend seine brandneuen Hits wie den Titelsong "Give Me the Reason", die R&B-Nummer-Eins-Single "Stop to Love" sowie seine emotionalen Balladen "So Amazing" und "There's Nothing Better Than Love".  Michael Deschenes Queen was great of course, but so was Billy I loved the show, did not know you could not get beer in maple leaf garden and my girlfriend stole the nicest shirt I ever bought, it had a blonde standing on top of the world / north america in a us candian flag bikini holding a torch like the statue of liberty, with the tour dates on the back, crap.  James Anderson 89 I was there. He was BRILLIANT as usual. I was in awe of his prowess and his command of his guitar. I was lucky to have gotten a seat not too far from the front, so I was able to zoom in on his technique. I'm a guitar player myself so I watched closely every position of his hands and how he was able to coax sounds and emotions out of his guitar I'm still in awe. Johnny Depp was also on the bill with him, and I was less impressed with him. I like him as an actor, but as a performer... not so much. A LOT of the women in the audience were swooning over him, but that was them. Jeff did Johnny a BIG favor adding him to that show. Jeff accompanied him brilliantly and did not overwhelm him although he could have. No matter, I came to see one of MY guitar heroes and was not disappointed. I had wanted to get an autograph after the concert, but the side was SWAMPED with fans. In retrospect I wished I did. I was STUNNED, repeat STUNNED when I heard he died in Jan. 2023 just days before my birthday. I just could not handle it. I'm HAPPY was able to see him this last time in Chicago.
