Larry J This was a concert for the ages. ZZ Top's Tre Hombres Tour, Bad Company's debut, a drunk as a skunk, throwing up Joe Cocker, Santana, fantastic, as usual. This concert was sponsored by UT's student body. It was expected to draw 4-6 thousand people, instead there was 85,000. It was total chaos. ZZ Tops Barn Dance and BBQ Jul 28, 2019
Larry J Thought Bad Company was going to be great, having seen them in Austin in 1974, but Ted Nugent played first, which was a mistake as he blew Bad Company out of the water. Bad Company was so pissed, they threw their instruments down on the stage, and walked off in humiliation. Bad Company/ Ted Nugent Jul 28, 2019
